High Barn is actually 2 barns; one for living in, and the other has a large games room. Access to the whole property is from a roadside parking bay - with enough room for 2 large cars (estate size) and 1 small car - through a gate in the garden wall. There is a picnic table and barbecue and it is gated so it is safe for young children and dogs.

The house has oil-fired central heating, and is on 2 floors. The ground floor is spacious and open-plan; the left side is a large sitting-room with wood-burning stove, TV and DVD player. The right-side is a kitchen/dining room with cooking options of a four-ring electric hob, double oven, microwave and, in the winter months, an Aga.

The top floor has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (a large master bedroom with ensuite, a double, a twin room, a small bedroom with 2 single beds and another bathroom).

The upper floor of the other barn has been recently refurbished and a wood-burning stove added. It is an open room with table tennis where children can play.
